JOHNSON May 17, Peggy, aged 86 years. Peacefully at home, in Howden-le-Wear after a short illness borne with courage and dignity. Beloved wife of the late Peter, devoted mother of Frances Ann, Andrew, Stephen and the late Vivian. A dear mother-in-law, much loved and loving nana and great-nana, also a dear sister, sister-in-law, aunty and good friend to many. A private committal service is to be held in Durham Crematorium at 12 noon on Wednesday, May 31, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for Peggy's life in the Methodist Church, Howden-le-Wear at 1.00pm for all friends and relatives. Family flowers only, donations in memory can be left at the church for Macmillan Nurses, all are invited for refreshments in the Church Hall after the service.
