WARD (nee Ellis) Rose Marie, aged 78 years, of Croxdale, formerly of Kirk Merrington, in hospital after a long illness on September 30, 2015. Beloved wife of Colin, mother of Gary, David, Karen and Lee, gran of Thomas, Marie, Richard and Summer and great-grandmother to her seven great-grandchildren. Service and committal to be held at Wear Valley Crematorium on Wednesday, October 14 at 11.00 a.m. Family flowers only please, however Marie requested donations, if so desired, to The Salvation Army be given at the service. Bright colours please, not black.
