HUDSPETH On October 23, in hospital of Newton Hall, Durham, Evelyn aged 92 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Bob, sister to the late Wilf also aunt to Sheila, Malcolm and their family. Friends please meet for service at Durham Crema-torium on Monday, November 10, at 2.00pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Cancer Research UK. Plate provided. Afterwards all welcome to Brancepeth Golf Club.

To the family of Evelyn:
Evelyn and Bob were great friends to my mum and dad, Ethel and Gordon Heron, dating back to their times at Mount Oswald- the old City Golf Club, in the late 50's. I last saw Evelyn 10 years ago as we were moving to Australia, and she was as lovely as ever. Her chocolate cakes were the best. I heard from her friends (Mary Vine) that she was finding life hard and I am sorry I didn't make the effort to see her. I will always think very highly and fondly of Evelyn and thank her as a great friend and supporter for my Mum after Dad died in the early 70's.
