DARLING John Dennis The death of John Dennis Darling, Grune Point Close, Skinburness, Silloth, Cumbria, took place on September 13, 2014. He leaves a wife Jean, to whom he was devoted for 65 years, a son Colin and his wife Susan, daughter Norma and partner Colin, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren with a fourth expected in Hong Kong. Mr Darling, a director of several companies, was well known in the North East, but has enjoyed twenty years happy retirement in Cumbria. The funeral at Carlisle Crematorium will take place on Friday, September 26, at 11.40am. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Silloth Life Boat and The Great North Air Ambulance, c/o W Scott & Sons, Harbour Workshops, Silloth, Cumbria.
