BRIGGS August 16, (in St William’s Care Home) of Hurworth Place, Darlington. Alicia, aged 98 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Dr Donald Briggs, dear mother to Yvonne and Peter and loving grandmother to Tamar, Susannah, Greg and Rosemary. Funeral Tuesday, August 26. Friends please meet for Requiem Mass in St Augustine’s Church at 1.00pm., followed by cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired, may be given in church for St John of God ''Do Good'' Charity.
