CLOSE Doris Edna Aged 91 years of Charles Dickens Lodge, Barnard Castle, formerly of Coronation Gardens, Staindrop, died peacefully in hospital on August 15. Beloved wife of the late Bruce, much loved mother of Jonathan and David, dear mother-in-law to Anne and Mirama and loving gran to Adam. Funeral Service at St Mary's Church, Staindrop on Thursday August 21 at 11.00a.m., followed by interment in the cemetery. Friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only please, if desired donations for the Great North Air Ambulance may be sent care of John Blenkiron and Sons Ltd Funeral Directors, 19 Galgate, Barnard Castle, DL12 8EQ.
