CLOSE (Houghton-le-Spring) Peacefully after a long illness in hospital on April 15 aged 82 years. Allan, a beloved husband of Kathleen, a dearest father of Michael, David and Alison, a dear father-in-law of Christine, Julie and Martin, a cherished grandad of Callum, Sian, Lauren, Oliver and Jessica. Would friends please meet for funeral service at St. Michael and All Angels on Tuesday April 29 at 10.30am followed by committal at Durham Crematorium at 11.30am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Parkinsons UK, Sunderland. Forever in our hearts.
