HOLMES April 6, (at home with his family), of Bowes Close, Ferryhill, formerly of Coundon, Alan (Big Al) aged 69 years. Devoted husband of Jean, much loved dad of Michelle and Allan, dearly loved father-in-law, granda, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Would relatives and friends please meet at Ferryhill Methodist Chapel, Monday, April 14, for a service at 12.30p.m., followed by interment at Duncombe Cemetery, Ferryhill. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Macmillan Cancer Care and Marie Curie Nurses. A golden heart stopped beating, Two weary eyes at rest, God took you to prove he only takes the best.
