WALKER On January 28, peacefully in hospital, of Newton Hall, Durham, formerly of Greensfield Farm, Alnwick, Joan (nee Fenwick) aged 78 years. Loved wife of Jacob (Jake), much loved mother of Malcolm, Alison and Valerie, loving grandmother of Claire and Helen, loving great-grandmother of Lucas. Friends please meet for service at St. Cuthberts Church, North Road, Durham, Friday, February 8, at 12.45 p.m. Interment to follow in South Road Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Macmillan Palliative Care Team, Community Macmillan Team, c/o Stuart Wright Funeral Service, Gilesgate, Durham.
