SMITH Ronald On January 14, peacefully in hospital, with his family around him, Ron aged 86 years, of Sedgefield (ex employee of Norsk Hydro). Much loved husband of Audrey, father of Jacqueline, Ruth and Ronald, father-in-law of Peter, Ian and Amanda, loving grandad to Deborah, Louise and the late Jonathan and great-grandad to Harley and Bradley. Service to take place in Sedgefield Methodist Church, on Tuesday, January 29, at 10.00am., followed by cremation at Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon. Family flowers only please by request, donations in lieu if so desired to the Alzheimer’s Society or the British Heart Foundation, care of the family.
