HANDLEY After a lifetime in nursing, Miss Gwynneth Handley, SRN, died peacefully on January 11, aged 88 years. Daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Hugh Handley, of Bishop Middleham and sister of Norah. Gwen held senior posts at Sedgefield General Hospital and later at South Tees. On retirement she lived in Homebryth House Sedgefield until moving to Melbury Court Durham. Funeral to take place on Friday January 18. Friends please meet for service at St. Michael's Church, Bishop Middleham at 1.00pm, followed by interment in the Churchyard. Family flowers only please.
