MARKHAM Stanley George (Stan), aged 85 years, of Barnard Castle, died peacefully at The Manor House, on January 6. Dearly loved husband of Jean, much loved father of Alan, dear father-in-law to Susan and proud grandad to Alice and Elizabeth. Funeral Service at The Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon, DL14 8NR, on Friday, January 18, at 11.45am. Friends please meet at the crematorium chapel. Family flowers only please, if desired donations for The Alzheimer’s Society may be given on the plate at the crematorium chapel or sent care of John Blenkiron & Sons Ltd, Funeral Directors, 19 Galgate, Barnard Castle, DL12 8EQ.
