THOMPSON December 18, of Witton-le-Wear, formerly of Sunderland, Ronald (Ron), aged 78 years. Much loved husband of Betty and the late Winifred, devoted dad of Judith and Michael, step-father to Stuart, dear father-in-law, loving grandy and great-grandy, a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle also a good friend to many. Will friends please meet for service in St. Philip and St. James Church, Witton-le-Wear, at 11.00am on Monday, December 24, followed by cremation at The Wear Valley Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in memory may be given to Cancer Research.
