POLICE are asking the public for help following two incidents of indecent exposure on successive days.

The description of the suspect is similar in both cases and officers are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The first incident occurred at about 6.50pm last Friday, October 17. A woman was sitting in the living room of her house on Shipton Road, York, when she looked up and saw a man outside.

She went to the door and found the man standing on her driveway exposing himself.

He is described as aged between 18 and 22, about 5ft 10in tall, with a medium build, dark, shaved hair and stubble. He was wearing a navy or black sweatshirt with a white logo and dark trousers.

The second incident occurred the following day at about 9am. A woman was jogging along the cycle path between James Street and Layerthorpe in the city when a man exposed himself to her.

He was in his mid-20s, about6 6ft tall, with an athletic build, short dark hair, which was curly on top and a dragon tattoo on the right side of his neck. He was wearing grey jogging bottoms, a grey hooded-top and trainers.

Officers are appealing to anyone who recognises the description of the man or has been approached in similar circumstances to contact them with information.
