THE achievements of young people who took part in a song writing project as part of The Prince’s Trust Fairbridge programme were celebrated at a Creative Opportunities Showcase event.

The young people ran their own workshops at Fairbridge House, Middlesbrough before a showcase performance at the town’s Myplace youth centre.

Musicians from Apollo Arts Stockton were commissioned to work with the youngsters who learned to write and perform their own original songs.

The event was supported by Our Big Gig EXTRA funding and The Prince’s Trust and musinc, the Teesside musical inclusion resource.
