A special outdoor screening of Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone is set to take place at one North East castle later this summer - here's all the details.

Witches, wizards and muggles alike are invited to Raby Castle in Darlington this summer for a magical outdoor cinema experience as the first Harry Potter film is to be screened outdoors.

At 1:30pm on July 14, the grounds of the historic castle are set to be taken over for the screening by Adventure Cinema.

Film lovers are invited to don their best Harry Potter costumes and merch and bring blankets, chairs and get into the spirit to enjoy the first in the eight film series.

Food and drinks will also be available to buy during the screening.

This blockbuster is one of five being screened that week at Raby Castle, starting with The Greatest Showman on Friday, July 12. 

Encanto, Pretty Woman and a two film Mamma Mia ExtrABBAganza sing along are also set to take place that week.
