Police are trying to trace a man they believe may have been stabbed in the stomach.
A report was received that a man may have been the victim of a stabbing incident near the Premier Store on Yarm Lane in Stockton at about 11pm on Tuesday, April 30.
It was reported to police the following day that a male, who was standing within a group of males and females, had lunged towards a man while holding a blade.
It is believed that the man may have had an injury to his stomach area, and he made off from the area.

This man has not been traced, or reported the incident himself, and enquiries carried out with CCTV and at local hospitals has so far not identified the victim.
He is described as a white male, believed to be in his fifties, 5ft 8-9ins tall, of slim build and wearing black clothing with a hood up.
Cleveland Police are appealing for the man to contact them, or for any witnesses or anyone with further information, to call 101, quoting reference number 079635.
