Police are on the hunt for a man they want to speak to in connection with an assault on a teenager on a bus.
Northumbria Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a report of an assault on a bus.
Officers received a report of an assault on the X7 service travelling from Consett to Newcastle, between 4.30pm and 5.30pm on Saturday, March 30.
It was reported that a man became involved in a verbal altercation with a group of teenagers.
The man is then reported to have hit one of the teenagers, aged 13, in the face.
He sustained minor injuries in the incident.

A spokesperson for the force said: "An investigation has been launched into the report and officers have today (Thursday) released an image of a man they would like to trace.
"He was in the area at the time of the incident and it is believed he could have valuable information which may assist enquiries.
"The man, or anyone who knows them, should use the ‘Report’ page of the Northumbria Police website or call 101, quoting crime reference number 37869R/24."
