STUBBS Joan Bowes (Nee Tarn) Passed away peacefully in Lindisfarne Care Home two months before her 90th birthday on 30 April 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Bryan, wonderful loving mam to Sue, Lesley, Neil and the late Robin, grandma to Chris, Nick and Andrew, great-grandma to Florence and George, mother-in-law to Richard, Graham, Tina and the late Yvonne, Aunt, Cousin to the late Ann, truly loved by the extended family members and her many friends. Everyone is welcome to the committal at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday 22nd May at 1:00 pm and then followed by a Remembrance Service at St Michaels Church, Heighington for 2:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to meet after the service for food and refreshments at The Bay Horse Pub, Heighington. Family flowers only please, donations may be given for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Please feel free to wear colour.
