The Met office has predicted an overcast day with patchy rain and drizzle in Darlington today (Saturday, May 4).  Further afield, there will be hill fog. 

According to the Met Office, it will be feeling rather chilly despite the light winds. There is a chance of some drier, brighter spells developing across southern areas late today with a maximum temperature 12 °C.

Tonight will be generally overcast with perhaps some patchy light rain or drizzle, although mainly across western hills.

There will be clear spells could develop across southern areas, leading to a risk of patchy fog. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Tomorrow it will be mostly overcast at first, with a chance of patchy drizzle. Gradually dry and brighter conditions will spread north, but then a few heavy afternoon showers may develop.

It will feel generally warmer with a maximum temperature 16 °C.
